When it Rains it Floods

When it rains, it floods- at least in Charleston!

Tonight was my girl’s night out and we were going to go to Purlieu, but with all the rain we have had lately downtown was flooded. We decided to stick to our side of the bridge and went to Grace and Grit instead.  Patrick and I went here when we were in town last year for the eclipse and really like it!  Mount Pleasant has nowhere near the array of dining options Charleston boasts so it is always nice to find a place with good food and ambiance.

It has been over a year since I have gotten together with my best friends from high school so we had a lot to catch up on between us, our mutual friends, and our less than mutual friends, although the older we get the less time we have for the latter.  I am so thankful to have such good friends here, it makes going home for the holidays (or any day) even more enjoyable.

Author: Oh yes she cane!

My name is Kerry and I love swimming, hiking, working out in general, travelling, shopping, baking, and reading. Some of those loves are a bit tricky to perform thanks for my rare nerve disease- hereditary spastic paraparesis. No worries though as I have a super handy cane, hiking poles, and amazing friends that help me along the way! I hope to share with you a bit about my life, inspire you to live yours to fullest, and hopefully, if needed, motivate you to get whatever assistance will help you to do so!
